PSA: Attack Ads

Statement From Noah Robinson:

A negative ad against my campaign will appear in many mailboxes soon and it requires a response from me.

Every candidate for office has to decide what kind of campaign they will run.

Early on, I decided that I would never run a negative commercial or mail a negative ad. I respect the Office and my co-workers (including my opponent) too much to drag this race into the mud.

I am a proud Democrat and always have been. Like many of my fellow Democrats, I have voted in Republican primaries when few competitive races were on our ballot or I wanted a more moderate Republican to win their primary. Indiana law allows this and it doesn't mean I am not a faithful Democrat.

I don't lie. I've spent my career committed to the truth. I was demoted from Chief Deputy after my opponent announced his candidacy because of an accusation that I was behind an attack ad. I've never authorized or in any way been part of an attack ad on my opponent, period. Not then and not now. I was a victim of a lie, but I didn't let it defeat me. I moved on and stayed positive.

The voters of Vanderburgh County will have to decide if I am to be their Sheriff based on my vision, experience, and merit.

You won't be seeing any attack ads from my campaign.
